SKI at Old Malonda House

Our Humble Beginnings

The Sambahang Kristiano sa Iriga is an independent church, non-stock, non-profit religious institution registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the year 2013. Church leaders and members work hand and hand towards its mission and vision with its own fund faithfully complying God’s word with a big heart.

A glimpse in the past, reckoned that love and faith in God inspired the Sambahang Kristiano sa Marulas to send its workers in Iriga City in 1977 and founded the Sambahang Kristiano sa Iriga. Initially, barangay crusades were held, seed of love grew and flourished eventually, house services followed in San Roque, Iriga City. One after the other missionaries and workers were sent by the mother church who facilitated the church activities, their absence however, did not hinder the works of God.

Subsequently, SKI rented lot in San Miguel, Iriga City, constructed temporary building made of nipa and bamboo where the church activities were held. In 1986 to 1988 missionaries and workers assigned left, the SKI continued with energetic youth God’s servants.
